Owner and Manager
Owner and Barn Manager of Hill Crest Farm LLC., Lisa has spent her life riding and successfully showing American Saddlebred Horses. Her showing career started when she was 7 years old. After her third lesson at Frank Person Stables her father bought her her very own horse named Joy. Lisa showed a few local shows with Joy and then she became the proud owner of Main Society. "Susie" and Lisa showed successfully in the 10 and under walk/trot division and then onto the the 13 and under junior division. When it was time to move into the 14 and older junior division Lisa again successfully showed Be Dazzled to many Championships. Then Lisa showed in the Ladies Amateur division with Annamotion and Cassandra's Fair Lady, to many ribbons.
In 2003 Lisa opened her own boarding and training facility and in August 2017, she expanded the farm to include a 16 stall barn and indoor ring. During this new adventure Lisa developed a love for a new discipline: dressage with her partners Concerto AKA: Rosie and Saint Peter AKA: Petey.
Lisa's love of horses and experience as a rider is a teaching tool that she uses with all her beginner riders. Her goal is to teach a solid foundation and she instills confidence and knowledge not only in riding but in the care of the horses. She takes pride in turning out well-groomed horses and riders at horse shows.
Lisa's brings years of experience, knowledge and continues to expand her knowledge of both riding and teaching by staying in weekly lessons, training program and by attending clinics both in and out of the saddle. Lisa has taken the opportunities to clinic with riders such as Betsy Steiner, Wolfgang Scherzer, Lauren Spierer and Marilyn Payne. She takes great pride in running a well organized, clean facility. Cleanliness, safety and the well-being of the horse and boarders is her number one priority.
Christine is a young professional that has been riding for 20 years. For the last few years Christine has been competing in both local and rated dressage, hunters and jumpers on her personal horses and client owned horses. She continues to expand her knowledge of both riding and teaching by staying in weekly lessons and also by attending clinics both in and out of the saddle. Christine has taken the opportunities to clinic with riders such as Lainey Ashker, Andrea Davidson, Gigi Nutter and Laura Chapot.
Christine enjoys teaching riders of all ages and experience levels. She takes pride in working with her students to help them reach their riding goals whether it is a competition goal such as earning a certain score or qualifying for a particular show, or simply wanting to gain horsemanship knowledge and confidence. As for training, Christine specializes in restarting OTTB’s and working with green horses. She believes in creating a partnership with each horse that she works with, and giving them a solid flatwork and dressage education no matter what their intended discipline will be. When starting a horse over fences she works to create the most positive and confidence building experience possible. This combined with a solid flatwork education will set you and your horse up for a happy, successful career.

Hill Crest Farm is devoted to delivering an exceptional boarding experience. A key part to Hill Crest Farm commitment to be an exceptional boarding facility is because of the dedicated, long term equestrian staff. These ladies have years of horse experience and been at this farm for many years. These ladies will provide your horse with the care they would give their own horse. Their essential functions are daily stall cleaning, watering, grain/hay and turning in/out. But that is not all, they will also monitor your horses health and well-being and notify management of any issues. They will also monitor all areas of the facility for safety and cleanliness. Cleanliness, safety and the well-being of the horse and boarders is their number one priority.
Fun for all ages and skill level, so...
